Whats the best dog food out there? I want to hear your views?
I actually use blue buffalo. It is all natural with no preservatives.
I use Blue Buffalo as well.
My dog really likes the Nutro Natural Choice brand. She had some digestive problems with the Purina One brand but since I switched her to the Natural Choice she’s been happy and healthy ever since. 🙂
There’s not one “best food” but there are certainly some top level foods. Â It really depends on your dog’s specific needs. Â A raw food diet is the best over all diet.
If you are looking for a kibble, Orijen, Acana, Fromm & Earthborn Holistic would be among those in the top level.
dogfoodadvisor.com is a good resource for more info on the food choices. Â Avoid corn, wheat, soy, by-products and anything that says “animal” (should identify a specific meat source…chicken, beef, etc). Â Also you can google any brand name and recall to see what’s out there…or check the FDA site. Â The brands I listed have not had any recalls.
raw diet is the best
There are a lot of options for raw feeding. Â Some people prepare everything themselves; it’s important to do some research to learn about the proper mix of muscle meat, organs, etc (plenty of info on line).
For prepackaged, balanced and complete raw food, Primal, Stella & Chewy’s and Genesis all have good products (and good variety of meat sources)…I’ve used all 3 with my dogs
