New to Pet Village

Hey,

I’m Kiersten I have a chi/ jack russell mix! He is amazing dog though since I have adopted him he has gained some weight, which worries me because of their knees. I have to rent a house so that he can bark all day he likes to bark at everything he hears, kind of tough when you are in an apartment. He is a great dog though and has captured my heart. Though he is always wanting someone new to play with thinking about getting another dog.. I really want one you can tell is full chi.

Jack Russells are great, energetic dogs! My mother in law has a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix and she is just so exuberant and friendly! The one downside I’d agree would have to be the vocalization. She yips a lot, especially when someone pulls up outside, and has a tendency to ‘sing’ along to music, haha. I would definitely be careful with weight issues, too. Our little bundle of laughs was quite round for a while–almost sausage-like–and she has since developed Diabetes. Chi’s look so cute! You must have a really adorable dog.
