They seem like cool pets to have so I’m curious if anyone here has owned one. What were your experiences like with them? What are some common problems and how did you overcome them?

My niece had an iguana. She loved it and kept it in her bedroom. One day we were visiting and my coonhound dog went into her room and began barking. We ran in and found the dog had treed the iguana on a high shelf! The iguana wasn’t hurt, but I felt bad and I’m sure he was scared.
