Daisy tends to get a bit bored with walks as we often go to the same place – during the week, especially now when it’s getting dark early. I don’t have many options of places to walk.
Anyone got good ideas of training/games I can do with her to make things a bit more interesting?

Maybe introduce Daisy to some neighbor friends? Or she’s not very friendly towards other dogs?

If she hasn’t be trained to heel nicely and do stops, back ups, and side changes as you would through advanced or competitive obedience, maybe give that a whirl. Introduce it inside first until she gets the hang of it, then while out on a walk you can do some heel work with her and mix it up a bit!

I agree with your suggestions. I have been struggling to find ways to make walks fun for my dog too. I will definitely try your tips and see what happens.

Maybe before you take her on a walk go hide a toy somewhere with a treat so she can hunt for it. Just an idea.

You could bring treats to give your dog every time she relieves herself, that might make her more excited to go on walks if she equates them with food and it also helps prevent her from going in the house. If your dog has a lot of energy, maybe try running with her so it’s more exciting and it will help her get rid of some energy.

Changing the route, “follow the leader” (adjust your speed, turn around quickly, etc to keep your dog focused on you) , etc.

I host a monthly event called “Pack Walk in the Park” for anyone in South FL (also a fun walk for humans and canines).  Here are pics from yesterday’s walk: Click HERE

(if not in our area, maybe start a Pack Walk in your area)
