Tina – those do sound like great features. I especially love teh smart collar idea. I know developing apps can be time consuming but I think that’s really the thing that would cause me to purchase the device. I love the idea of being able to monitor what is happening when I’m not at home. I didn’t see anything about the physical design but I would hope that is was very sleek looking! Good luck!
I had heard great things about greenies but our dog never seemed to actually bite on them much. Ultimately we started doing two things.
1.) We bought a rope with dental floss like this one from Amazon.
2.) We got a toothpaste from the vet as well however I also found it on Amazon. CET Poultry Toothpaste. The vet told us every week to do the toothpaste. They sell dog toothbrushes but he recommended just using some q-tips. It takes two of us but we’re able to do it. He said you just have to get it on the teeth and then it will do its thing.
The combination of the two seems to help. He still can give off some pretty nasty breath when he yawns though! Anybody else got any other ideas?
I possibly would if it had great design. Are you talking about wet food or kibble? The reason I ask is because I’ve never been concerned about cleaning the tray.. how would you clean it but keep it dry for kibble? I do think it would be great to be able to monitor things with an app and be able to see what was happening. It would also be valuable if the app told me how much food was eaten and also possibly had a webcam to keep an eye on things and/or provide a log of the times the pet ate. How much would you sell this for?
