Dog barks at everything!

I have to move the problem is I can not move into an apartment because my dog barks at everything. He will hear a sound in the house he barks, if a person passes by he barks, if we get up and make any noise he barks. It makes it really hard for us to get an apartment if he is going to be barking all the time. Does anyone have suggestions?

I remember hearing Cesar Millan say you need to stay calm while telling your dog to stop barking but also you have to make sure you have your dog’s full attention and you get them to submit completely before you move on.
